Our founder

Steph Smith (Meyer) is the master stylist behind infamous blonde, balayage and brunette transformational speciality salons, Steph Meyer & Co - St Kilda & Horsham, and recently designed and launched SM&CO Hair Tools.
With more than a decade of experience in the hair industry, Steph's journey has been an exhilarating and colourful adventure, to say the least. She has been featured in Style Icon and HairBiz.

Steph’s modernised boutique approach to hairdressing has supported thousands of women in their blonde journey, and attracted hundreds of reviews praising the modern, cosy and comfortable environment and professional attentive customer service.

Steph spent 2021 growing her first tiny human, and renovating what became her second studio in her home-town, Horsham. Within months of opening, the double-story salon was recognised at the Australian Hair Industry Awards (AHIA) for Best Salon Design 2022 and Newcomer Salon of the Year 2022. Followed by Vic Salon Business of the Year Finalist 2023.
